When using cones watch the fish to see if one fish is controling the cone and not allowing the other fish to eat. A feeding cone does keep the worms in one place leading to a cleaner tank. Also with FD and other foods look at the protein content. Offered as a frozen food they are not very nutritional but believe they are offered in a FD form so you might consider that. James, people here feed bloodworms as a treat. Is the idea of the feeding cone to keep the worm in one place and therefor a cleaner tank? And could I use frozen (defrosted) in the cone Not really sure how long 10g would last maybe it's worth getting it and seeing I have been able to find 10g packs for about £5 or I can get 50g for £12 shipped from the US but would prefer a UK supplier as it's faster delivery You also might consider contacting Al who owns this forum and is a supplier of FWBWs and ask him for a shipping quote to the UK Īh I see that's why they are very cheap then There is a UK based forum called BIDKA you might consider joining. Perhaps some fellow UK discus keepers can help both advising on a source for FDBWs and use of Freeze dried tubifex cubes in the UK. I have no experience with the Freeze dried tubifex cubes. Hi James and welcome to Simply, generally tubifex worms is not considered a clean food in that it is a known parasite carrier.
